Adner Abreu works at the Eden Valley Farm and pre­vi­ously served as the farm manager at Oua­chita Hills. He has been farming over the past 10 years with a special focus on green­house pro­duc­tion. Adner is pas­sion­ate about growing quality produce and sharing his knowl­edge with others.

Edwin Dysinger

Edwin and Jen­nifer Dysinger and their chil­dren spent 16 years pio­neer­ing in Sudan, Tan­za­nia and Yemen with ADRA and OCI, working to improve the lives of poor and rural fam­i­lies. That was fol­lowed by 10 years of growing produce with Boun­ti­ful Bless­ings Farm. John Dysinger

She has taught Pre K‑12 at con­fer­ence schools and self-sup­port­ing insti­tu­tions. In this metal fab­ri­ca­tion class you will learn the basics of how to cut, shape, and weld steel. The form of welding will be MIG. Each par­tic­i­pant will make his/​her own broad fork to take home. Tractor Maintenance and Repair Demo

If you are think­ing of getting a tractor and would like to learn how to safely operate and use various imple­ments along with how to main­tain and extend it’s life then this is a class that will be very useful to you. Many tractor owners strug­gle with chang­ing a 3 point hitch imple­ment. Under­stand­ing some basic prin­ci­ples will make this process much easier and efficient.

Nathanael Jensen

Nathanael Jensen is a student at Weimar Uni­ver­sity, study­ing reli­gion. His one goal in life is to be a medical mis­sion­ary. He was home­schooled through 11th grade, and during that time expe­ri­enced many aspects of true edu­ca­tion, includ­ing gar­den­ing. I will give the basic meaning of being Cer­ti­fied Organic, how one goes about becom­ing cer­ti­fied, and how it can help your farming prac­tices. We will also discuss some of the chal­lenges of being Cer­ti­fied Organic.

    The Farm and Diversification

    I will explain how it is good to not have all your eggs in one basket” and that by diver­si­fi­ca­tion you can keep a more con­sis­tent income when there are crop fail­ures or other envi­ron­men­tal issues. This would be for a farm that is already estab­lished in at least one area.

    Food Safety and the Basics of Post Harvest Handling

    I will cover basic poli­cies and pro­ce­dures that are required in the food indus­try when selling your farm prod­ucts to the public through farmers’ markets, restau­rants, online stores, and grocery stores, either retail or whole­sale. We will discuss what is needed after harvest and how we handle our product.

    Chad & Fadia Kreuzer have a film min­istry called Anchor Point Films. They produce doc­u­men­taries on the Bible, History, and Health. Chad also has a Youtube channel on prac­ti­cal tips for country living and gar­den­ing, called Health and Homestead.

Terms like green”, eco-friendly”, recycle”, and envi­ron­men­tally-friendly” are typ­i­cally used by groups who are more con­cerned with cre­ation than the Creator.     The Lord brought Dwayne Lemon out of the dark­ness to become a humble par­tic­i­pant bearing the light of God’s love through­out the world. He is an ordained Elder in the Orga­nized Body of Seventh Day Adven­tists and Co-Direc­tor of PTH Min­istries.       Cindy Magan has a wedding and event florist busi­ness in Colfax, Ca. She is married to her best friend Andy, and is mother to three teenage girls. She began design­ing with flowers for wed­dings, and com­mu­nity out­reach pro­grams, 10 years ago. She then pursued cer­ti­fi­ca­tion and addi­tional train­ing. She finds florists work can be used to open doors, soften hearts, and launch won­der­ful conversations.

      Tommy Mayer is cur­rently a teacher/​farmer at DayStar Adven­tist Academy. Prior to that he appren­ticed with Lynn Hoag, which was a great prepa­ra­tion for his work at DayStar. Tommy has spear­headed a project called The Food Lab”, with the goal to have zero waste of farm produce — by dehy­drat­ing, freeze-drying and pickling.

      Rion Naus

      Rion Naus is a Cer­ti­fied Public Health Edu­ca­tor with a B.S. and a MS. Ed. from South­ern Adven­tist Uni­ver­sity. His per­sonal expe­ri­ence of pain and per­sonal injury led to a long journey of recov­ery. Grate­ful to have sur­vived, he is happy to share lessons that he learned through that journey, and specif­i­cally, how they apply to agri­cul­tural practice.

      Neil Nedley

      Neil Nedley, M.D. is founder and medical direc­tor of the Nedley Depres­sion and Anxiety Recov­ery Pro­grams, and Opti­mize Your Brain” program designed to enhance emo­tional intel­li­gence. Dr. Nedley is a board-cer­ti­fied Inter­nal Med­i­cine spe­cial­ist with an empha­sis in the dif­fi­cult-to-diag­nose patient, gas­troen­terol­ogy, and mental health. He also serves as Pres­i­dent of Weimar Uni­ver­sity. He has pre­sented and pub­lished numer­ous sci­en­tific studies and is well known as a public speaker and teacher through­out the world.       Robert has been an edu­ca­tor for many years teach­ing high school chem­istry and physics, as well as outdoor edu­ca­tion, country living and dis­as­ter pre­pared­ness classes at youth summer camps and in the local com­mu­nity. He owns and oper­ates a green­house busi­ness where he sells herb and veggie starts for local farmers markets.

      Alan Seiler is a small-scale veg­etable grower in South Central Okla­homa. He has been involved in agri­cul­ture since he was 14 years old.
