Conference Weather and Location:

Riverbend Retreat and Conference Center located at 1232-C County Road 411B, Glen Rose, TX 76043. The Center is a Baptist Camp build on top of a hill with vast views of the town of Glen Rose and the Brazos River.

The weather in January in Texas can vary, never lasting long enough to get used to. Wind can be a challenge. Come prepared with layers, temperatures can vary from 30 to 60F..

Getting there:

Ride and Share: We encourage AdAgrA participants to carpool. Check out RickyRides, a rideshare page set up for the 4th annual AdAgrA Conference. Whether you are offering a ride or need one, find other conference participants using this online rideshare tool.


Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is 83 miles (1hr 39 min by car), and Dallas Love Field Airport (DAL) 88 miles (1 hr 40 min by car) from Riverbend.

Car Rentals:

We recommend either sharing a ride or getting a rental car. All major car rental companies are available at each airport.

Ground Transportation:

Airport shuttle and limousine services are available at the airports. The attendee is responsible for own arrangements.

Driving Directions:

From Dallas

North of I-20 from downtown Dallas - Take Interstate Highway I-35 E South towards Waco. Exit onto 67 to Glen Rose. Or Take I-20 west to HWY 67 South. Take 67 to Glen Rose. Refer to the Glen Rose directions below for additional information.

From Ft. Worth/ Arlington

Take Interstate Highway I-35W South towards Waco. Exit Hwy 174 (exit 37), Burleson-Cleburne exit and go through Burleson and Joshua. As you approach Cleburne, take Highway 67 right to Glen Rose. Refer to the Glen Rose directions below for additional information.

From Waco

Take Interstate Highway I-35 North towards Fort Worth. Exit onto Highway 67 West in Alvarado. Take Highway 67 West into Glen Rose. Refer to the Glen Rose directions below for further details.

From Abilene

Take highway I-20 East towards Fort Worth. Exit 108 south to Stephenville after Thurber/Mingus. In Stephenville, take Highway 67 to Glen Rose. Refer to Glen Rose directions below for further details.

From Glen Rose

At the second Exxon station on 67, turn left (Abilene visitors turn right) onto Highway 144 south. At the flashing red light at the town square, turn left, staying on Highway 144 (go 1/2 mile.) Turn left at FM 56 "Riverbend Retreat Center" sign and go 2.5 miles. (See Alternate Inclement Weather details below.) Then, turn left on County Road 411 "Riverbend Retreat Center" sign and travel 1.8 miles. Turn left on County Road 411B at the Riverbend Retreat Center sign-Main entrance is 1/4 mile. retreat center.



If you are attending conference but not lodging at Riverbend Retreat there is a $10 day user fee.

Full conference is Tuesday night-Saturday night (5 nights). Minimum of 4 nights for a reservation.

Cost depends on option chosen. Current options at Riverbend are limited to - 

  • A couple of cabins with large bathrooms, no linens, sleep 40 people - $150/night
  • Dorm-style cabin for women OR men only, no linens - $20/bed/night
  • Covered wagon and teepee (climate controlled), no linens - sleep 12 and 24, respectively - $65/night
  • Indoor tent sites (large rooms for multiple tents) - $25-30/night
  • Outdoor tent sites - $20/site/night (max of 6 people/site)
  • RV sites with hookups (22 still avail.) - $35/night

Frequently Asked Questions:

What if I have to cancel my reservation? Reservations may be cancelled until December 15, 2017, but you will lose the non refundable fee listed on your checkout page (about $30). After December 15, 2017 there will be no refunds made. Your reservation can be transferred to someone else, however.

How do I register for the conference? Go Here to register.

How do I know my reservation is confirmed? You will receive a confirmation email at the email address on your account. Please use an email address that you check frequently. If you do not receive an email confirmation within 30 minutes of registration, you are not registered and should try again or contact registration at: 231.735.6078.

Can I register more than one person and make one payment? If you are on the same account you can. Just add the additional names to your account before making the subsequent reservation.

Can I request a specific family to room with? The cabin lodging options are ideal for multi-family groups. We suggest one family reserve the lodging option and then take care of splitting the cost on their own. If you are registering for the conference and someone else reserved the room that you will be staying in, please send us an email stating who you plan to stay with.

What do I do with my luggage if I arrive before check-in time? You can put it in the room by the Gym’s Lobby. It will not be secure but it will be out of the way. Registration will be in the Gym.

What if I arrive late, how do I find my room? Please call Lucia Tiffany and let her know you will be coming in late. A note with your name will be left on the Gymnasium door with room assignment and location.

Can I buy meals separately at the conference? We will have a limited amount of meals to sale at the conference. We recommend purchasing them in advance.

Can I bring my spouse or child to the conference? There is a single registration fee for a family that doesn’t change whether there are 2 or more in the family. Any minors must be accompanied by an adult. Be aware that there are no child care services or children’s programming. Children are expected to be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.

Does the camp have a store with essentials? The camp has a store with essentials. Hours will be posted on the door.

What is the dress code for the conference? Simple, modest attire is appreciated for men and women.
